DRAFT for review. Not yet in effect; must be reviewed before publication.

This draft explains how Clincher handles information in the Clincher iPhone app and on this website. "Clincher", "we" and "us" mean the team behind the app.

The short version

Your deals, clients and notes are synced to our backend, hosted on Cloudflare, so they are available on your account. When you use an AI feature, the document or text you choose is sent to our AI provider, xAI, to produce a draft. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Signing in

You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We receive the identifier Apple provides and, if you choose to share it, your name and email (which may be an Apple private relay address).

What you put in the app

Clincher stores the deals, contacts and clients, deadlines, documents, checklists and drafts you create. This can include personal information about your clients and other parties to a transaction, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses and property addresses. You are responsible for having the right to enter that information.

AI features

When you use AI features, the text or document you submit (for example, a contract) is sent to xAI to generate a response. It is used to return that result.

Retention

Synced data is kept while your account is active. You can delete records in the app at any time. Records of purchases are kept as long as required for tax purposes.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through in-app purchase. We never see or store your card details. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

This website

We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking on this website.

Children

Clincher is a professional tool for agents and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We will update this page if this policy changes and change the date above.
